Beautiful Oregon!

And we're back from a WONDERFUL vacation to visit 'Ganma' and 'Granpa' Wilde and Aunt Madison in beautiful Oregon. We did all kinds of fun things like going to two different fun water parks, visiting a mini-theme park called the Enchanted Forest where Jack was actually tall enough to ride all but one ride!, and going with Ganma to see the 3-D version of Journey to the Center of the Earth (which was surprisingly pretty good!). Of course we also spent plenty of time just playing in the big backyard, too! Here is just a small sampling of the fun we had! (Better grab a tub of popcorn...this may take awhile! :)

Last year Eddie was too little to enjoy the amazing public water parks... This year he definitely made up for lost time!

The first thing Jack did was discover the waterfall/pond that Granpa had built. Beautiful!

And of course he had to get in the pond with the fish!

Here's happy Jackson enjoying looking a the planes PRE the 5.5 hour flight. I decided not to take a picture of POST flight Jack. :)

Justin, Jackson, Madison, and Eddison (and random kid in the bottom right corner?) having fun at the park!

Eddie kept Justin and me busy running up and down the water park! He wanted to jump like the big kids, but doesn't realize he doesn't know how to jump yet.

One happy kid!

Make that TWO happy kids!

Mommy and Eddie in the 'crooked' house at the Enchanted Forest!

Jackson picking a birthday bouquet for Ganma's birthday!

Jack just showing Granpa where to plant the rest of the flowers.

After three days of no afternoon nap he FINALLY crashed on the couch! This kid is defintely not ready to drop the afternoon nap! :)

Daddy and the boys getting some sun at the park.

Jackson's FIRST roller-coaster ride at the Enchanted Forest! He LOVED it (twice!)!

Ganma and the boys at the Enchanted Forest. We had such a great time! Thank you!

An almost perfect family photo! (Jackson just had to look away! LOL!!)

Madison was Jack's best friend on this trip! He followed her around everywhere and just LOVED copying everything she did!

Daddy and little Ed having some fun in the beautiful backyard!

Uncle Devin helped Eddie experience an aerial view of the waterfall.

Total number of rocks thrown into the river/pond: THOUSANDS! (Sorry Mom and Dad!)

Jack practicing some soccer moves in the ginormous backyard.

Mommy and Eddison on his FAVORITE ride...the choo choo train! (Look at that 'CHEESE!' he's making! :)

Isn't it clear this kid LOVED the water park?! :) Mommy loved it, too.

Justin taking Eddie duty. He was so all over the place we had to cover him in shifts. :) (And we thought he was the 'easy' one!)

Just playin'!

Another fun day at the water park!

Justin, Jackson and Uncle Nishan.

Bug hunting with Aunt Madison.

"Look it! I got a bug!"

"He's looking for his family." (Jack ALWAYS says this when he's got a bug!)

Just one example of what the awesome delay on my camera will capture! LOL! :) Doesn't he kind of look like Sloth from the Goonies?

Another of my faves from the two second delay...

Now for some cute ones. :)

Whenever we were at the house Eddie was not far from a rock or the pond!

He even insisted on climbing the ladder to the slide all by himself (with Mommy or Daddy as spotter!). This was his second favorite thing to do!

And then back to the rocks!

On Saturday we were able to meet up with our friends Matt and Lisa from BYU! After lunch at Red Robin (a classic from school days!) we took the boys to a fun Family Day in the Park event where we met up with Ganma, Granpa and Madison. It was a perfect day to end the trip!

Thank you for such a wonderful vacation, Mom and Dad (and Madison!)!

J E A L O U S!!!!!

Oh my goodness - it looks like you had so much fun and mom kept calling and rubbing it in that I wasn't there (well not really rubbing it in per se - but telling me what fun you were having!) And I want my boys to play with your boys!! SOON hopefully.

They are SO cute - and I'm downloading the sloth picture and keeping it for future use!!

What a great family - hopefully next summer we'll get these kiddos together!

I'm still trying to figure out if I was looking at a residence or an exclusive, swanky resort! The Wilde's yard is AMAZING!!!! The waterfall is just stunning. What a talent!

The 2nd two second delay picture had me laughing so hard. Looks like his eyes are rolling back in his head. Oregon sure looks like a nice place to live.
