Pumpkin Carving Party 2009!

Following tradition we carved our pumpkin (this year it was the night before Halloween) at the Johnston's for their 4th annual Pumpkin Carving Party. We all enjoyed Nellie's chili and witch's finger breadsticks for dinner - and then indulged in the desserts everyone else brought! This year Jackson helped me make oreo/cream cheese ghosts covered in white chocolate. Yum! I *thought* about taking a picture, but they just didn't last that long, lol! :)
Eddie showing me, "A leaf for a-collection!" We've been finding and collecting pretty fall leaves - they're so beautiful this time of year here in NC!

Nellie made all of that yummy chili and the kids wanted quesadillas. Figures, right?! LOL!

Mommy and her trio.

Daddy and the boys.

As usual, I did the carving and the boys helped scrape out the pulp with their 'knives' (butter spreaders). Jack requested a 'CARY face pumpkin this year. Done. :)
