Baby's First Christmas!

On Christmas Eve we went over to the Johnston's house along with the Burgess's and Scienski's and had a wonderful evening! Before heading over, however, we each opened (Jackson helped Eddie) our traditional gift of new Pajama's so we could put them on before we left. Jackson got his new CARS jammies (from Santa) along with McQueen slippers (from Nana). And Eddison wore his, 'Baby's First Christmas' jammies (from Santa).
Eddison (10 months) and Tyler (5 months) - both celebrating their FIRST CHRISTMAS EVE! Can't you feel their excitement?!
Family Christmas Eve photo! Eddie was still taken with Jack's new slippers and Jackson was busy eating a roll.

Three adults using three separate cameras and I don't think ANY of us got a picture with all of the kids looking! Four out of five ain't bad, though! :-) Apparently we should have bought Eddie some slippers, too!

(L-R: Jackson, Eddison, Riley, Tyler, Katelyn) Aren't they adorable in their Christmas jammies?! (Jack's are actually McQeen pajamas that just happen to be red.)

Daddy and Eddison: ticklefest 2007 at the Johnston home, Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas morning with Mommy and Eddie...who looks like he had a little too much egg-nog. ;-)

The Wilde Boys in the obligatory Christmas Tree photo. Jackson and Eddison had more important things to look at than their crazy mommy behind the camera shouting, "Jackson, look! McQueen! Eddison, look, a cracker! Look at mommy!!! Please?!!" Obviously they've become desensitized to my false claims and trickery.

But Daddy behind the camera?! Now THAT'S a novelty!!! They'll look for him EVERY time! Maybe because they know he hates picture time just as much as they do?

My man delivered... Didn't Justin do an amazing job decorating the outside of our house this year?! He wanted to put the lights up on the top as well, but without a big ladder his solution was to climb on the roof...the steep roof. Umm...I don't think so! What's more important - a father for my children or pretty lights? I convinced him to wait until next year when he'll have his big ladder and can put lights on whatever he can (safely) reach!

From left to right: Arwen, Riley, Jackson, and Katelyn at the Johnston's house on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Morning aftermath!!! Jackson opened 99% of the presents (including Justin's, Eddison's, and mine!) Of course our little piglet was more enthused by the discovery of a cracker than his new activity table!

Daddy and Jackson with his new Mater and McQueen. It was definitely a CARS Christmas for the Hurricane!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We loved every Christmas card and are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family! I'll put up some pictures of Eddison's first New Year's once they're uploaded onto the computer...We still can't believe he'll be turning 1 YEAR old next month!

Love you all!

What a good lookin' family! And beautiful lights and Christmas tree. Good call on not letting Justin climb on the roof...that's how people die. Usually old people on Coumadin who are delirious and don't know they're on the roof in the first place, but still, people die that way.

didn't mean to post it twice. I'm gonna go ahead and blame that on the kitten walking on the keyboard.
