Wow - it's been awhile!!! Sorry!!! The past few months have just flown by as Jackson continues to keep us on our toes! I didn't realize just how many 'milestones' he had been hitting until his pediatrician went through the standard '18 month' qustionnaire with me at his appointment this morning.. Apparently the fact that he can scribble (among many other things) proves that we haven't yet failed as parents and that our 'baby' is quickly transitioning into a little boy.
We are happy to report that at 22 lbs. even, Jack is now officially on the growth chart (albeit at <8%..but it's a start!)!! He has also reached 31 inches which keeps him at about the 20th percentile for height.. (Eh - you've all seen his parents...he's most likely not destined for the NBA with our genes. :-)
He handled his vaccinations like a champ and flirted with his pediatrician for over an hour. I just loved hearing all of the wonderful things Dr. Riley had to say about him and of course he was deemed 'perfect' in every way.. (Duh..:-)We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!! Hopefully we'll get some sort of e-newsletter out before the holiday...Until then, we love and miss you all!
